Profile
Since high school I have had a great passion for science and even today the experimental approach is the most natural way for me to approach work. At University I chose pure chemistry, but thanks to family ties with agriculture and wine and through the example of my brother Paolo, an expert agronomist, I soon began to carry out periods of practical work in the vineyard, cellar and with olive oil. These experiences changed my life: not the laboratory but agriculture would become my working environment. So I changed my study direction and in 2002 I became an oenologist. Since then I have worked in various companies in Tuscany, from small to medium-sized companies dedicated to uncompromising quality, up to large cooperative wineries, always finding myself collaborating with important consultant winemakers. I was subsequently hired as an oenologist at the Technical Service of the Siena Agricultural Consortium, with the task of providing oenological knowledge and processing advice in Tuscan wineries. In 2009 I started working as a freelancer. Many wines from my companies, including organic and natural ones, have received and still receive excellent recognition. Since 2010 I have been a member of the wine commissions of Toscana Certificazione Alimentare and Valoritalia as a taster member. In recent years I have also become a Technical Taster and Onav Delegate for the province of Arezzo, contributing to Taster courses as an organizer and teacher.
From the first day of working together we both understood that we had found the perfect professional partner for the future of MOMA.

Profile
I graduated in 2002 with a degree in Food Science and Technology and in 2012 with a degree in Oenology and Viticulture. I began my journey in the world of wine first in Tuscany and Piedmont, then in Umbria, working as an assistant winemaker alongside great consultants. Thanks to them, I had the opportunity to grow in my profession, learning the secrets of the craft and various winemaking techniques through direct experience.
From 2009 to 2020, I decided to explore the wine world beyond Italy’s borders—first in California and New Zealand, then in Switzerland. These very different winemaking environments and approaches proved incredibly valuable, allowing me to strengthen my skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability.
In 2021, I returned to Italy and resumed my work where it all began. In Tuscany.
